Say hello to this sweet boy, Denzel! Denzel is a 2-year-old big boy weighing 35 lbs. He is well-behaved and gets along with all canine companions including females and dogs of different sizes. Denzel does not live with cats but has been tested around them, but he seemed to just ignore them. Denzel has had some limited interactions with children ages 6 and above and all he wanted to do was play with them; however, when tested around seniors he appeared to just ignore them. This fearless guy has learned his manners quickly while in foster care and he is already house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and sleeping in his crate at night! He also knows lots of commands. And if he wasn'™t smart enough already with all of the manners and commands he has mastered, he knows how to play fetch by himself! Denzel was heartworm positive when he came to BTRTOC as a stray, but he is nearly in perfect health now since receiving treatment. He is such a lovable guy who enjoys giving kisses, snuggling with people and other pets, playing with other pets, going on car rides, playing fetch, playing with toys, playing tug, and chewing on bones. Denzel is a one-of-a-kind boy and will be happy in any home where he has someone to love and preferably others to play with. He is extremely well behaved and happy-go-lucky according to his foster mom, which makes him the perfect family dog!
