Update October 29: Nighty night Friends!! Ellie here!! How do you like my sweater? I've been told the color really suits my coloring. What do you think? I'm still waiting on my Forever Home!! I am going to need some guidance to help me remember that I am NOT in charge! I mean, I would LOVE to be!! But then again, when I think about it, that's a LOT of pressure for a little girl. I think I should just stick to being Ellie, the sweet young girl that likes to play and cuddle! But every once in a while, I get this feeling like . . . maybe . . ? I'll try it!! Oh no, you say? Oh ok!! No worries!! Just thought I would ask. Let's go play ball then!! I am a sweet little girl. And let's not forget to mention BEAUTIFUL!!! Anyone would be proud to call me a part of their family. I am sure of it. I am getting along really well with both my Foster Brother and Foster Sister. In fact, one day last week, we all took a nap snuggled up together. It really WAS adorable (no brag, just fact). Sleep tight!! Dream of me, Forever Family!! And then come and get me!! Love, snuggles, and kisses. Ellie September 2013: Meet beautiful Ellie! She is a 5-year-old, 18-pound, beautiful Boston mix who has gorgeous brindle markings. Ellie lives with both male and female dogs and has warmed up to them once she gets to know them. She has nipped at other dogs when being territorial with her ball, but otherwise has kept to herself. Ellie has not been observed with cats while in her foster home and has had limited interactions with children 6-12, and none with seniors. She does love to play with the teenagers in her home. Ellie is working on gaining some weight so that she can be spayed and ready for her furever home! Ellie would do great a home where she iss the only pup and can be the center of attention, or in a home where there are other dogs. Although she loves her food, treats, and toys and loves her humans even more, she does not always have the best manners with new dogs in the home at first. Ellie is very smart and is leash trained and house trained! She also will play fetch for as long as her humans will let her. Additionally, Ellie loves to snuggle with people, go on car rides, and chew on bones. She is a super sweet girl who is learning her manners and getting healthy while in foster care. She loves her humans more than anything else and gets close to her caretakers very quickly. Ellie would do great in any home where she can be the center of attention! She loves to snuggle in the bed, and will make a great addition to a family who enjoys cuddling. To ask about Ellie, send an e-mail to: contactbtrtoc@yahoo.com
