Teddy is a 2.5-year-old, 20-pound BT that came into rescue after being surrendered to a shelter.

Though his full story is unknown, it was clear that Teddy did not feel he could trust humans. He was very scared! The wonderful news is that his foster mom has been determined to make sure he knows love.

He went from too fearful to come in the house, to coming in and out on his own. He was too scared to be touched and now enjoys pets and scratches and is learning to walk on a leash. Way to go, Teddy!!

Teddy is very sweet and smart! He’s doing very well on his house training and he loves his crate. Teddy also loves other dogs!

An ideal home for Teddy will have a fenced yard, another dog or two, and someone home enough to provide consistency and patience as he continues to learn to be a beloved pet.
