Birdie is the sweetest little pug you will ever meet. The vet thinks she is approximately 6 years old, but she looks like a younger gal. This poor baby has only known neglect, but still wants to be your cuddle bug. She came to us from a puppy mill where she probably had multiple litters with little or no veterinary care. She came to us loaded with parasites and a raging urinary tract infection. Birdie was shy at first, but bonded quickly with her foster mom and follows her everywhere, a true "velcro" dog. We think Birdie would do best in a quiet household where she can feel safe and secure to come out of her shell. She snuggles and plays gently with her foster brothers and sister, who are also low key dogs. She sleeps quietly in a crate and will hang out in it by her own choice, but would love to sleep in the bed with her human if that's allowed. She is gaining some needed weight and making progress with house training. Birdie is spayed May 21 and up-to-date on all other vetting. Do you have a soft couch and a warm lap for Miss Birdie?
