My name is Chico. I am a sweet 12-year old senior Pug. My owners surrendered me to a shelter and the great people of Black Tie Boston Rescue got me out of there so I could feel safe and loved. My foster mom gave me a bath and pedicure and says I am ready for my furever home. I love naps, getting pets and scratches, and giving kisses. My foster mom has nicknamed me thumper because my leg thumps up and down when ever she scratches my back.
My vision is impaired and I need prescription eye drops three times a day for chronic dryness, but it doesn’t stop me from getting around well. I am house trained, standing by the door when I need to go out, and I get along great with my senior foster brother. I am a big boy at 40 pounds, so I am eating a food for weight management. Even though I am overweight I still like short walks and enjoy the weather outside in the garden.
