Stella is an approximately 4-year old Boston Terrier with possible Corgi mix of 26 pounds. She was a stray brought to the rescue with an unknown background. She's done wonderfully in her new home; however, due to her adoptive mom's declined physical health, Stella needs a new home.

 

Stella is a sweet and funny girl, who is house and crate trained. She loves her crate, but does not need to be crated if you're comfortable with letting her free roam in the home. And she's happy to sleep with you or in her crate, whichever you prefer.

 

She is very smart, learns quickly and has learned many commands with the help of a private trainer; however, she has not acclimated to leash walking. She pulls when being walked, so would be best in a fenced yard. Stella is fear aggressive so needs slow introduction to new people, and she is not a fan of passing cars, bicycles or golf carts. 

 

Stella loves her toys, dog bed, blankets and treats! She wouldn't even mind having a doggy sibling, if they are calm and non-aggressive. She has not been tested with cats.

 

Stella takes a joint supplement that can be purchased from Amazon. She prefers a slow-paced life, where she can take walks outside and nap as much as she wants. Stella needs a home, not an apartment, with a fenced yard and older or no children.
